Binnenstad ontwikkeling van onderaf heeft met:

1) zelfstandigheid te maken, 2) met liefde voor de historie van de stad, 3) samenwerking en daarmee een zelf-redzaamheid, 4) kleine klusjes belonen, zodat iedereen betrokken kan raken, 5) niet afhankelijk zijn van de grote multinationals, die prijzen zo hoog maken, dat je geen geld meer overhoud voor eten en naar de voedselbank moet…

Een van de kerndoelen is meer aandacht voor de jeugd. Bij niet telkens te zeggen: denk na, maar door meer aandacht voor het hart (elkaar helpen), zelfstandigheid en daarmee ondernemerschap te bevorderen en als derde punt bijzondere talenten te helpen ontwikkelen, waardoor er zelfstandigheid en een perspectief ontstaat.

Dus samengevat: meer resilience door dat de jeugd zichzelf kan ontwikkelen, nieuwe mogelijkheden mag ontdekken met respect voor de historische basis van de stad.

Rotterdam starts with an Ubuntu social resilience project. Encouraging young people to spend time with elderly people. These mini harbor boats that are used for this project, will be made in one of the oldest cities near Rotterdam: Vlaardingen!
